Summary
Felix meets with Tom Mercer, a white boy charged with selling his father’s car. Tom seems to be surprised that Felix is black, which Felix thinks always happens when he talks to someone on the phone and then meets with them in person. Tom works for a media-related company that does brand consolidation; he gets annoyed when Felix asks if he means advertising. As Felix looks at the car, Tom's girlfriend, Soph, keeps calling him on his cell phone. Tom says they are asking a thousand dollars, but Felix says he will have trouble finding anyone to buy this car but a mechanic, to which Tom responds that it is a good thing Felix is a mechanic.
