Summary

In Chapter 10, narrated by Fallon, Ben planned to visit Fallon in New York, but Fallon was disappointed when a waitress brought her the phone. Ben told her that his brother was killed in a car crash. He promises Fallon he will see her the following year.

In Chapter 11, narrated by Ben, Ben is upset because he knows how badly he has disappointed Fallon. He has not cried over his brother’s death because he believes he needs to be strong for Jordyn. She will be having Kyle’s baby in three months. Ben had wanted to beg Fallon to come to see him, but did not.

Later, Ben is shocked when the doorbell rings and he discovers Fallon standing there. She says she wanted to make sure he was okay. He kisses her. He is afraid if she is not careful...
