NOS4A2 is written entirely in the first person perspective by the main character, Victoria McQueen. The story is reliable throughout and told mostly as an exposition.

NOS4A2 by Joe Hill is a novel that while written in modern day English deals with a subject that requires that the reader stretch his or her imagination to the breaking point. Hill manages to blend enough realism into his story that reading it does not become an exercise in absurdity. Instead, the reader is taken on a wild ride in which a modern day vampire who calls himself Nosferatu (German for vampire) stalks children to maintain his life and his youth, using a car that he is as much a part of as it is a part of him - a Rolls-Royce Wraith.
