Summary
Wayne tries to get out of the Wraith. He heaves himself into the front seat, only to find himself in the back again. Unsuccessful, he sees his phone on the floor and calls his father to tell him what is happening. When Manx and Bing return, he hangs up, promising to call again when he can. Manx gets in, and the car maneuvers on its own. Wayne watches, telling himself it has to be the gingerbread smoke Bing used on him. Bing takes off his mask and bandages Manx’s ear. Manx talks to Wayne, explaining how the car is an extension of him, so he is driving even if it doesn't appear that way. He says Wayne is in his own pocket universe in the back seat. The police pass them without seeming to notice them...
