Summary
Bing Partridge reads through a Spicy Menace magazine from August,1949. He sees an article seeking an employee for Christmasland. He is determined that he is the perfect candidate for this job. He types a reply in which he describes his current employment, assuring the owners of Christmasland that he is willing to do anything to gain employment with them. He finds a box of Christmas cards which seems appropriate, so he tucks his letter into one, kisses it for luck, and sends it off. For the next several days, he stands at the mailbox, hoping for a reply even though he has just sent his letter off. On Monday night, he wakes to the sounds of White Christmas, and he has dreams that are more vivid than any he's ever had before.
