Summary
In Chapter 8, Tessa leaves the police station and goes to St. George’s market. She observes it and thinks about her visit there with Marian and Finn. She told Fenton about the bag Marian had that day. It was big enough to carry the bomb. Fenton thinks that Marian was using Finn as a cover. She did not tell him that Marian suggested that they go and that they take Finn with them.
In Chapter 9, Tessa is home with Finn, who will not stop crying. She calls a friend of hers who is a doctor. She suggests that Tessa use a hair dryer to get him to stop. She does; and, it works. They are still with the hair dryer when Tessa’s mother returns. Tessa explains what happened, and her mother says that Tessa’s milk is not good for Finn because...
