Point of View
None of This Is True is a third-person, limited omniscient novel alternating focus between Alix and Josie. Each chapter is identified as a particular date and is sometimes broken up by time stamps to denote time passing. Chapters can start with Josie’s perspective and end with Alix’s and vice-versa. Typically, there is a transcript from the podcast or Netflix documentary to offer a break in the focus from character to the next.
Alix and Josie are similar in that they are both forty-five-year-old mothers living in London. Alix and Josie were born on the same day in the same hospital, which is why Josie approaches Alix about being her birthday twin.
