Chapters 72-80 Summary
The rain causes mudslides in Hong Kong. Ian surveys the damage from a helicopter. He has made two photographs of the ciphers and gives Riko one set.
Suslev and Boradinov are at Police Headquarters as requested. They claim they do not know anything about Arthur or Metkin. Suslev, questioned separately about Sevrin, says he did not know anything. If Sinders does not get the information he wants, he will see that information concerning Suslev reaches Moscow.
Crosse arrives for his meeting with Ian and finds Sinders already there. Ian gives the envelope to Ian. Sinders looks at it and says it is meaningless and tells Ian that Kwok must be at the border.
