In Ungrateful Jaime has a coffee in Starbucks witnessing parents talking about their difficulties with a child refusing to go to ballet classes. She remembers the way she was raised. Her mother was not a loving parent who understands a child. As a supernatural child she posed challenges, but other parents, such as Paige or Talia coped well. When the women leave, Eve appears complaining that Jaime acts on her own. She also thinks that Jaime does not need to be too helpful to ghosts' requests.
