Summary

Before going to Odessa, Chigurh goes to see the man who sent Carson Wells to kill him, and fires a full load of double ought buckshot into him, watching him die while he explains that he used buckshot out of consideration for the people walking below the window. This way, there was no falling glass. Meanwhile, Carla Jean does as she promised and leaves Odessa, headed for El Paso with her mother who is anything but pleased about it all.
