Chapters Fifteen - Sixteen Summary

When Susannah gets home in Chapter Fifteen, she gets a phone call from Father Dominic regarding Jesse; he is very angry. Call waiting brings CeeCee on the line with information that after Mrs. Beaumont's death from advanced breast cancer, Mr. Beaumont retreated within himself, and Marcus Beaumont, his brother, began running the businesses. Finally, Susannah takes a call from Tad and she spills the beans regarding the activity that evening.

After Susannah falls asleep in Chapter Sixteen, she is awakened by Spike and Jesse. When Susannah realizes she thinks she is falling in love with Jesse, and right as she thinks he is going to kiss her, the shrieking female ghost returns.
