Summary

Annabel and Elsie could not find Jack so they ran downstairs to ask the adults to help. Jack heard his parents arguing, then Liang and the girls coming upstairs. Jack moved out of the closet and into his father's office. He could smell alcohol on Liang, which was not uncommon. The three entered Annabel's room, and when Elsie looked in the closet for Jack, Annabel closed the closet door and held it shut. Jack thought about Annabel's sleepwalking weeks before. He felt like he should do something but he watched Liang instead. Liang tried to pull Annabel away from the door but pulled too hard, causing her to fall into her full-length mirror.
