The Glade

The glade is a place that Stan and his mother discovered. Stan’s mother kissed him in this glade and told him it was their special place. When Stan returned to this glade alone, he discovered his mother having sex with Mark, her singing teacher and lover.

Addie Peabody’s House

Stan and Molly lead séances in Addie Peabody’s house making her believe she is communicating with her daughter, Caroline, who died at a young age. They use this belief to convince Addie to give her house to Stan for use in his church.

Stan rigs the house with switch boxes and loose boards to produce the special effects he needs to make people believe he is able to communicate with the dead. Stan brings Grindle to the house when he intends to use Molly to bring Grindle’s lost love Dorrie back to Grindle...
