Summary

In “Card XIV The Tower,” Molly was relieved Stan had begun acting normal again and agreed to help him with Grindle. When Molly appeared as the image of a young girl during a séance, Grindle believed it was Dorrie and begged her not to leave. Molly still did not like being part of tricking someone, but Stan told her their future depended on her. Stan forced Molly to record a message from Dorrie to Grindle. Molly was able to make an adequate recording only because she was afraid she would further disappoint or anger Stan.

Meanwhile, Stan had cashed in his stocks, worth eleven thousand dollars, to convince Grindle other people were donating to his cause. Grindle gave him 150,000 dollars as well. Lilith put the money in her safe.
