Dark Angel: Chapters 1-6 Summary

Night World 2 is a collection of three novels, Dark Angel, The Chosen, and Soulmates.

In Chapter 1, Gillian is walking home from school unexpectedly because her friend who was supposed to drive her home left early to meet her boyfriend. As Gillian walks, fuming over her bad luck and worrying about her home situation, she hears a child's voice calling. Gillian goes in search of the child, thinking someone might be in trouble, and accidentally falls into the frozen creek.

In Chapter 2, Gillian manages to get out of the creek, but because of the cold water and the snowy weather conditions, she quickly descends into hypothermia.
