The Lawnmower Man Summary
Harold Parkette has always hired a neighborhood kid to cut the lawn with his mower, but when a cat accidentally got caught under the blades he sold the mower to appease his wife and daughter. Now that summer has returned, Parkette has tried to ignore the wildly growing lawn. It has gotten to the point, however, where he can no longer ignore it. The neighborhood boy has gone off to college, so Parkette decides to search the newspaper for someone to hire. An ad that promises cheap rates gets his attention.
