Summary

In Chapter 30, Fiji wakes up and remembers that she killed a man. Although she did not know it at the time, the man was Ellery McGuire, Olivia’s father's right hand man who was working against him to kill Olivia. Fiji talks to the doctor and then the sheriff comes to ask her questions. Finally, Chuy comes and gets her out of the hospital. The voice of the demon speaks to her when she returns home, but she does not listen to it. Then Lem comes and thanks her for saving Olivia.

Manfred goes to Fiji's in Chapter 31 with breakfast. They eat and he leaves. She opens her shop and a customer she does not like comes in. Fiji's customer chides her for not doing anything about what it going on in Midnight and then Fiji tells her that she is. This pleases...
