Summary

In Chapter 24, the residents of Midnight are at the restaurant with the exception of Fiji, Manfred and Lem. During dinner, Quinn lets everyone know that he bought a house in Midnight. Madonna welcomes him to the neighborhood which everyone thinks is a little strange because they do not think of the Reeds as people who would stay in Midnight. Lenore Whitefield also comes in to ask Madonna whether she will help them out by cooking lunch and dinner for the hotel. Even though Madonna does not agree to do it right then, she tells everyone after Lenore leaves that she is going to accept the offer. Madonna also asks where Fiji is, which Quinn thinks is strange.
