Summary
Dee finds himself in a psychiatric ward trying to find a bathroom. He had been in the ECT waiting room with Fellis. Dee finally finds one with a janitor in it, who says he is almost done. Dee reflects on his past several months, which he has spent dating a woman named Tabitha, who Dee met at the clinic. They spent time together in Tabitha’s small apartment, and the relationship was going well prior to the reservation Social. Dee took Tabitha with him, and she loved it, but after the Social one of his mom’s friends, Cheryl, told him he should find a Native girl to date.
