Chapter 24 Summary
John and Leslie Rosenthal walk to the basement where the personnel records are stored. Rosenthal goes to retrieve the personnel files on Christopher Brock, Roxanne Scarangello and Lucita Perez, but the files are missing. Rosenthal tells John that the FBI must not have returned the files. John asks Rosenthal if he can get Anita Morales to come down there, and Rosenthal calls for Anita over a two-way radio. While they are waiting for Morales to show up, John thumbs through some of the other personnel files and sees that there are many with Hispanic names. They do not have social security information or green cards attached to them. To make sure he has something to hang over Rosenthal's head, John mentions that fact to Rosenthal, and Rosenthal remarks that accounting must have those documents.
