Chapter 22 Summary
John wakes up on his couch in his apartment the next morning with a bad hangover after spending the rest of the night drinking at one of his neighborhood bars. Kate has left him a terse note saying she has gone to work. John calls in sick and then starts heading out to the Bayview Hotel in Westhampton. On his way, he turns off his cell phone and beeper, which is against ATTF regulations. He listens to a talk radio show in which the host is hammering away at a State Department spokesperson.
