Chapter 13 Summary

John and Kate wake up the next morning and read the paper over breakfast. They talk about the investigation. Kate tells John that the name of the hotel on the blanket that was found near the crash site is the Bayview Hotel. She explains that she was not supposed to know, but she called around to different hotels after the crash. She spoke to the manager at the Bayview, Leslie Rosenthal, who told her about the missing blanket. She was then called into the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility and agents informed her that she had overreached in her investigation. John and Kate leave their apartment.
