Hospice
After Norm suffers in the hospital for an extended period of time, Penny has him moved to an Anglican hospice located in North Bergen. Though Norm agrees to the move, he quickly becomes disgruntled with the new setting. Not only do the nurses and director seem dismissive of his pain, they accuse him of asking for opioids, and not taking his condition seriously. Throughout his stay at the hospice, Penny visits him nearly every day, sitting faithfully by his bed. One day, Amalia visits with Norm's cat. When Norm chokes the pet, Penny thinks he is trying to tell Amalia to strangle him. Shortly thereafter, Penny and Amalia have Norm moved home to die.
Nicotine
Nicotine is what the anarchist squatters have named Norm's childhood home. Though the house never left the Baker family, no one has visited it since Norm's parents died inside. After Norm passes away...
