Charlie Spring

Charlie Spring is one of the protagonists and narrators in the novella—along with his boyfriend, Nick. Charlie started dating Nick when he was a freshman at Truham Grammar School in England. At first, he and Nick were both closeted and afraid of bullies who would judge them for being gay in high school. However, the two of them started being open with their relationship and discovered that everyone in their school celebrated their love and supported their relationship once they all knew about it. Charlie has a very popular and active Tumblr account where he always posts about his relationship with Nick.
