Rick Diehl

Rick Diehl is a young man who had a desire to begin a bio research company after he graduated from college. Rick's main motivation was to prove to his family of physicians that he could be as successful as them without become a doctor himself. Rick uses his wife's small fortune to fund his company during the start up years before the company begins to turn a profit. After purchasing the Burnet cell line, the company begins to do well, but Rick would still like for it to do better. Rick decides to take on a silent partner and accepts a deal from Jack Watson. Soon after, Rick, his company, and UCLA are sued over the ownership of the Burnet cell line.
