Chapters 90-95 Summary
Rick Diehl's company is essentially destroyed with the court decision in Oxnard and the lawsuit pending against them in the Levine case. Not only this, but Rick's divorce attorney has been denounced for attempting to use genetic testing in a child custody case. Rick's wife now has custody of the children. Frank Burnet meets with Jack Watson, who has just successfully sold Burnet's cells to Duke University in a deal that will benefit both men. A few weeks later, Jack Watson is having difficulty walking. After many tests, a doctor tells him he has Vogelman's paresis, a fatal condition. With all the money and all the power Watson has, there is nothing that can be done to save his life.
