Chapters 36-43 Summary
Lynn Kendall, Henry's wife, is shocked when he brings Dave home. Lynn wants to know what Henry intends to tell people. Henry does not know. Lynn watches Dave play with their son, Jamie, and decides she has to do something. Lynn decides to create a fake genetic disease, a rare disease, that causes excessive hair. Lynn tells everyone that Dave is a human child who suffers this disease. At the same time, a press conference is going on in Shanghai to put to rest rumors of there is no such thing as a chimpanzee-human hybrid.
