Summary
In Chapter 13, Jordan arrives at school the following day to discover Rawle reading his sketchbook. The particular pages she is reading address Jordan’s frustration with her inability to remember his name. He says this indicates that he is insignificant to her.
Rawle explains she opened it to see to whom it belonged and saw the angry things he had written about the school and his life in general. Jordan points out his name is written in big letters on the inside cover and that she had no right to invade his privacy. She believes the book is an attack on the school and on her. Jordan argues that it represents his point of view and compares it to an editorial cartoon.
