Summary
In Chapter 10, Jordan draws several panels in which he illustrates his desire to be a superhero. He especially loves Batman because he stands up for the little people.
Back at school, the rich kids brag about their vacations and their tans. Jordan is unhappy because he is taking an art class, but he has already decided it is not the sort of art that interests him. Jordan is thinking the day cannot get any worse when he gets stuck with Alexandra while waiting for his dad, who is late. When it starts raining, Alexandra offers to share her umbrella with Jordan.
Alexandra tells Jordan it is okay if he does not like her because she knows that no one likes her. Alexandra notes that Jordan is supposed to tell her that not everyone thinks she is weird. Jordan apologizes, but he says that...
