Summary
By the time the lunch bell rang, Mimi had developed the beginnings of a horrible headache. She was prone to these, and at the bell she rushed out for the girls’ bathroom. However, before she could escape, Ian waylaid her asking for a favor. He wanted to know if Casper had ever given Dee anything. Mimi said no and pulled away, running to a stall to throw up. She felt better afterwards and was able to join her friends in the cafeteria. Before she entered, she saw Dee racing home with her backpack unzipped.
