Summary
In Chapter 16, narrated by Lindsey, Lindsey tells Sophie that Andrew had been in their house and that she had applied for a peace bond against him. When she tells Sophie that she saw Andrew at the bank she notices Sophie gets defense and asks what is wrong. The look on Sophie's face lets Lindsey know that Sophie has met with Andrew. Lindsey tells Sophie that she cannot see her father again, at least not while she is living with her. Lindsey tries to convince her daughter that Andrew has not changed, that he still wants to kill Lindsey, even though Sophie argues perhaps it was not him that was inside their house. Parker calls Lindsey later to let her know that the peace bond has been approved and a summons sent out for Andrew. Regardless, Lindsey is sure that Andrew is planning something...
