Summary

In Chapter 11, set in October 2005 and narrated by Lindsey, Lindsey tried to make sure things were just right for Andrew when he got home for his birthday. Despite the pains she took, he arrived home early and was angry when she arrived. Lindsey did not know the cause of his anger until she saw that he had ransacked the bathroom. He entered holding the package of birth control pills she had been hiding from him. She told him that she did not want to have another child with him because he was abusive. He told her that if she ever tried to leave him, he would kill her. He took Sophie out for his birthday dinner and would not allow Lindsey to come.
