Summary
The narrator woke up three days later and listened to the weather report coming from the television, which had been left on. She was wearing her fox fur coat and she had a stamp on her hand from a nightclub. There were Polaroid pictures scattered around the room featuring hip young people having fun. The narrator recognized one of these people – Ping Xi the artist from Ducat. The narrator had no memory of taking these pictures or spending time with these people, and she again reflected on her hatred of the pretentious New York art scene. She retched and discovered granules of glitter in her vomit. She decided not to take Infermiterol again for a while, and took Valium and Ativan (two anti-anxiety medications) instead.
