Part 4, Chapters 42 - 45 Summary

In Chapter 42, Jessica wonders if David had been the one who had hurt Alex. She also wonders if he might have been the one who killed Rosalie. She goes to work and searches for the file on Rosalie Banks. As Jessica flips to the composite photo, a fellow worker comes to talk to her but her mind won't work.

In Chapter 43, Jessica calls Reyes but gets an answering machine. She decides she has to get Kira away from David.

In Chapter 44, Mahmoud recognizes there is something new upsetting Jessica. He realizes he messed up when he did not check to see if Alex was dead after he pushed her. Mahmoud thinks about how close he is to failure. As Mahmoud watches the drama unfolding he decides to abandon his plan to kill Alexis and Bea and instead kill Jessica...
