Part 2, Chapters 17 - 21 Summary
In Chapter 17, Uncle Billy believes he has seen a ghost when he sees Jessica's husband in a photo from 1926. That morning, he'd also seen the ghost of his wife, Sadie, standing at the end of his bed. He feels that if he had touched her, he would have gone away with her to heaven. Then, he had seen David in the picture. Uncle Billy believes David is another ghost, one not so friendly, who has come to take him home.
Billy is preparing for a bath when he hears David's knock on the door. He does not speak to David, only hands him the photograph. Although David tries to convince Uncle Billy the man in the photo must be his grandfather, Uncle Billy tells him that he has known there was something strange about David since he met him...
