Tracy Crosswhite
Tracy Crosswhite is the main character and hero of this novel as she tries to make sure that the right person is serving time for her sister’s murder. Tracy noted inconsistencies in the trial of the man accused of murdering her sister, Sarah, but had no way to prove those inconsistencies until her sister’s remains were found twenty years later. Tracy gets a friend, Dan, who is also a lawyer to look at what she believes is proof that Edmund was framed. Dan agrees with Tracy’s suspicions.
Tracy believes it was her fault that Sarah was abducted and killed because she allowed Sarah to drive home alone from a shooting competition the day Sarah disappeared.
