Summary

In Chapter 8, Cat goes to the office Christmas party. She has a good time until she spots Alex. She tries to hide from him, but Rosa drags Cat over to him so that she can drunkenly tell him that she was his Secret Santa and brag to him that she bought him an expensive gift that went over the allotted amount. Alex is standing with Demeter, who is having a fight with Adrian, the CEO of the company. Cat had told Rosa that she liked a guy who was handsome and dark haired and had a tattoo. When Rosa sees Alex’s wrist tattoo she tells him that Cat loves him. Cat, mortified, leaves the party.
