Summary

In Lesson #12: Learn to Take a Punch, Trey and Gregory looked for a new apartment. They decided that it would be prudent for Gregory to sign the lease since Trey had been blacklisted throughout the city by Fred Trump after he organized the tenant strike. With the help of Leslie Galbreath, the congressman who Gregory was sleeping with, the roommates moved into an apartment in the Harlem River Houses. Later, Trey attending a meeting with Peter at Larry Kramer’s apartment. The librarian explained that the meeting was meant to weed out volunteers who were not ready to participate in protest.
