Chapters 31-35 Summary and Analysis
In Chapter 31, My Rosie, the beautiful, remote Rosie pretended to be in love with Reymundo. In fact, she was trying to lure him into Disciple territory for a hit by her gang boyfriend and brother. Rosie's friend Sheena warned Reymundo of the deadly ambush just in time.
In Chapter 32, Down Brother, Loco gave fifteen-year-old Reymundo two guns and a bag of drugs to sell, a huge vote of confidence for a Pee Wee Latin King. A brother named Weasel was arrested for the hit where the Imperial Gangster got run over by the van. Weasel wasn't even with them that night. Reymundo was ordered to make a hit on a new rival gang, the Orchestra Albany. He began to have nightmares of all the people he's shot or seen die.
