Book VI, Sun and Moon Summary

Kojiro has been staying with a retainer of an official who was seeking to have Kojiro join the staff as a samurai. When the man tells Kojiro that he is not certain how much the annual stipend will be, Kojiro says that he is not interested in the financial aspect. He says that he is only interested in serving a reputable house. Then he is told that he will have to go for an interview and Kojiro thinks on the matter for several minutes before abruptly saying that he has changed his mind and does not want to be considered.
