Chapter 37 Summary

The next morning, Regan has a new attitude. She's a big girl, she assures herself. She can handle Alec leaving and she will make sure he never knows how she feels about him.

She meets Aiden and Spencer in her office. They want to hire additional security guards but she refuses. Spencer offers to take her to Melbourne to hide out until the killer is caught but Regan refuses to go.

When Aiden tells her they have other things to talk about, Regan assumes he wants to hold the annual meeting. Instead, her brothers tell her they had the meeting that morning while she slept. They decided not to increase her budget, to give Emerson the payoff and to expand the company by building a new hotel in Sydney. All they need from Regan is her signature on the papers.
