The Caliban's House

The Caliban's house is a two-story home in the suburbs of an unnamed town and state. Dorothy lives in the home with her husband, Fred. She has a big garden outside where she loves to plant flowers and vegetables. Inside the house, there are two spare rooms--one that used to belong to Dorothy's son, and one that was destined to be a playroom for the children. Fred never goes into either room, nor does he ever enter the kitchen. When Larry arrives through the screen door in the kitchen, Dorothy has an easy time hiding him in the former playroom.
