Summary

In Chapter Six, Fred started asking Dorothy to come out with him over the next week, which was a surprise to her. Estelle called her drunkenly and complained about her teenage daughter, Sandra. Dorothy went to Estelle’s house and saw the mother and daughter fighting through the window. Dorothy came in and Sandra left. Estelle explained that Sandra was dating an older man and her brother, Joey, had found out about it and had told his mother.

Dorothy went home and talked to Fred about Suzanne and their vacation. Dorothy got him to agree to separate vacations and that Suzanne would not come until after the 12th.
