Act 1 Part 7 Summary
Back in his office August comments on a slide of Chad's father, Mr. Jasker. August describes him as looking forward to the money he was going to make from leasing his properties for the interstate highways and business developments. He says that he saw Jasker twice, when the archaeologists arrived in June and left in September, adding that last September there was no second visit.
Against the backdrop of a slide of the moon, Delia sits in the shadows as Chad and Dan come into the house after a day of fishing, drunk and noisy. They argue for a long time over whether it's advisable to drink beer and whiskey together and debate what phase the moon is in. While Chad is using the toilet, Dan asks himself, "What did we do?" When Chad comes back, they argue about who caught...
