Summary
In "Chapters 6: The Big Man," the narrator introduces himself as Murad Badshah. He claims to be “huge” but not exactly fat (62), though he admits to having a stutter. He then states: “Let me tell you how I met Darashikoh Shezad” (64). Murad’s father died before he was born, and his mother’s family gave him excellent access to books and education. Eventually, he earned an MA in English and could not find related work. His uncle gave him a large sum of money that Murad used to buy a rickshaw.
