Friendship

Ideally, friendships help an individual become a better person. Living in Jackson, Mississippi with her dad and stepmother (Barry and Kathy), 16-year-old Mim is traveling 1000 miles to Ohio where she expects a happy reunion with her mother, Eve. As Mim sets out on the journey, she has no support. She has not made any friends in Jackson. She feels no connection to anyone except the obligatory family members.
