Chapters 41 through 46 Summary
After Drewe is taken to the home of her parents, Harper is taken to the Yazoo County Sheriff's Office where Harper finds out that a plane has been found in the river but the cockpit was empty. While some say he must have drowned, Harper isn't certain. When Harper talks to Miles the next day, Miles claims to be in the home of the killer. He found the man by tracking a piece of software found on the killer's computer by the Trojan horse. Miles reveals that the man's name is Edward Berkmann - a doctor. He's an alum of Columbia University, is a brilliant brain surgeon and created a working model of the human brain that's used in an array of settings, including as a teaching tool.
