Chapters 36 through 40 Summary

The next day, Drewe phones Harper demanding that he go immediately to Jackson to check on Erin. She says that Erin has said that she's come to a plan of action that will be difficult for people at first but is necessary in the long run. Drewe believes that to be a threat of suicide. Harper arrives to find Erin calm. She says that they were stupid to think they could maintain a secret of this magnitude, that she plans to tell Patrick and demands that he tell Drewe. They argue but Erin is determined and Harper, convinced that Erin is not setting out to hurt herself and that Holly is safe, leaves.
