Chapters 11 through 15 Summary

Another letter at this point outlines an encounter between the killer and two accomplices. Panikkar demands more money and Kali kills him then beheads him. When another accomplice, Bhagat, calls and asks for Panikkar, Kali holds Panikkar's head up to the window and motions for Bhagat to come inside. Bhagat does and Kali explains to him, "in their language," what has happened and that he has two hours to rest before the procedure will begin.

Harper is awakened at five a.m. by an EROS tech named David Charles who says that another blind-draft payment has bounced. The woman's name is Rosalind May and she lives in Mill Creek, Michigan.
