A British secret agent, code named 007, Bond works for the secret service which is the department normally responsible for conducting missions abroad. Bond is a bachelor and enjoys the finer things in life. He speaks several languages and is well trained with weapons. He is the best shooter in the Service.

His hobbies are his car, a Bentley, golf and gambling. He is an avid smoker and drinker. His drink of choice is a dry martini. During the story, he falls for police officer Gala Brand. She finally breaks his heart at the end of the story. During the story, Bond defeats Drax in a high stakes game of bridge. He also is chosen to work security at Drax's Moonraker facility. There he eventually discovers that Drax is attempting to blowup London. At the last second, he manages to redirect the rocket and saves London while killing...
